STILLING WELL

Stilling well is a cylinder shaped cage installed within a tank to protect level instrumentation such as displacer or probe from fluid agitation that would result in measurement error. The stilling well are perforated /provided with holes to allow the level of fluid inside and outside stilling well within a tank to be always equal. Stilling well have diameter with size providing adequate gap between stilling well and displacer. This is to avoid liquid or particle being clogged in between.

Habu Process offers a range of high-quality chambers for Top Mounting of level measurement and control instrumentation on process vessels in accordance with ASME B31.3 or B31.1. Stilling Well are made of certified and traceable materials from Europe, USA or Japan and manufactured using full penetration welds with welders and welding procedures certified according to ASME standards. All Stilling Wells are 100% NDT Tested (Dye Penetration for Filet Weld).

Hydro testing is not possible.
